An Elephant with the Gorilla to Find Help
Deep in the heart of the jungle, an elephant named Kalu stomped through the dense foliage, his massive ears flapping in distress. His best friend, a gorilla named Bantu, swung from the trees beside him. Kalu’s herd had been caught in a mudslide, and only Bantu could help him find someone strong enough to assist.
“We need the rhinos,” Bantu said, leaping onto Kalu’s back. “They’re the only ones strong enough to clear the fallen trees.”
Kalu nodded and picked up speed. The two friends journeyed past rivers and towering trees, asking every animal they met for guidance. The parrots squawked directions, the monkeys chattered in excitement, and even the cautious deer pointed them toward the rhinos’ grazing ground.
At last, they found the rhinos basking in the afternoon sun. “Please,” Kalu pleaded, “my family is trapped.”
Without hesitation, the rhinos charged toward the landslide. With their combined strength, they cleared the debris, freeing Kalu’s family. Cheers erupted through the jungle.
“You saved them,” Kalu said, turning to Bantu.
“No, we did,” Bantu replied with a grin.
Together, the elephant and the gorilla proved that friendship and teamwork could overcome any challenge.
